PSG Held to Draw by Al-Nassr in Japan Tour Opener
Five days after their victory over Le Havre, Paris Saint-Germain played to a disappointing 0-0 draw against Al-Nassr in their first match of their Japan Tour.
Despite the presence of star players such as Lionel Messi and Neymar, the French giants failed to find the net against the Saudi Arabian side.
It was a frustrating evening for PSG coach Christophe Galtier, who saw his team dominate possession but struggle to create clear-cut chances.
Al-Nassr, on the other hand, defended resolutely and threatened on the counter-attack, with Cristiano Ronaldo firing just wide in the second half.
The match was played in front of a sold-out crowd at the Panasonic Stadium in Osaka, with fans eager to see some of the world's best players in action.
However, they were left disappointed as the match petered out into a draw, with neither side able to break the deadlock.
PSG will now travel to Tokyo to face Urawa Red Diamonds in their second match of the tour on Saturday.
They will be hoping to bounce back from their disappointing start and put on a more impressive display for their Japanese fans.
